A Place of Limitless Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Phillips Academy. We are excited to get to know you as you embark on the application process. Please note that we are no longer accepting applications for fall 2021. Our application for Fall 2022 is now available online, and is not due until February 1, 2022. Due to the ongoing public health situation, our campus is currently closed to visitors. Please visit our virtual events page to learn more about our school. We will conduct virtual interviews with interested Fall 2022 candidates; please visit our self-service portal to book your interview appointment.

We are proud to be entering our 14th year of need-blind admission. Guided by our school’s founding principle of youth from every quarter, we seek to admit talented students of all backgrounds into our intentionally diverse community. Especially during this momentous time in US history, we value the opportunities this presents. We stand with students and families speaking out against racism and injustice and remain deeply committed to education for a greater good.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at (978) 749-4050 or admissions@andover.edu if you have any questions or if we can be helpful in any way.

Sincerely,

Jim Ventre ’79

Be daring. First of all, don’t be afraid to apply. I never thought I’d even get into Andover. But I got in—and I got financial aid. Without it, I wouldn’t be here.

Karissa Upper | Coral Springs, FL

You come to Andover because of the 1,100 other students who come to Andover. They are, as our founding charter calls for them to be, “youth from every quarter.” They’re talented in quirky and serious ways, they have ideas and opinions like— but mostly unlike—yours, they have fascinating histories and surprising ambitions and generous hearts. They come because they love ideas and learning and discovering. And they come because maybe you will be here too.
