Summer Storage Option for Boarding Students

Each year, Phillips Academy partners with Collegeboxes to provide a solution for boarders who need to store their items over the summer. Collegeboxes will pick up items, place them in storage, and deliver them to your student’s 2025–2026 dorm room just before the beginning of the school year. Deliveries to college or the student’s home are also possible. There are costs associated with this service. NOTE: Student belongings cannot remain on campus over the summer.

Please refer to this document for important dates, details, and answers to commonly asked questions. More questions? Contact Claudia Scofield in the Dean of Students Office by email or call 978-749-4124.

Important Security Update

Starting Tuesday, March 18, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will be required to access The Hive, BlueLink, and the Andover Family Directory. To ensure a smooth transition, families must set up MFA on their Andover account ([email protected]) before March 18.

What You Need to Do:

Once enabled, MFA will require an additional verification step at login, such as a text message code or authenticator app.

Additional Resources:

Need help? Contact the OIT Helpdesk by email or call 978-749-4357. Thank you for helping us enhance account security!

Andover Family Directory

Thanks to your feedback from the Family Survey conducted in winter term 2024, the Office of Family Engagement is excited to announce the launch of the Andover Family Directory! Log in now using your Hive credentials. The directory is opt-in; families must log in to be visible to others. You can find tutorials on how to use the directory here. Should you need assistance with resetting your Hive log-in information, reach out to the Office of Technology Help Desk by email or call 978-749-4357.

Ways to Use the Andover Family Directory:

  • Connect: Search for and reach out to fellow Andover families to build connections.
  • Seek Support: Use the directory to find families for advice, support, and shared interests.
  • Coordinate Activities: Connect with other families to arrange travel, visits, and participate in school-related events.
  • Host or Join Gatherings: Organize or attend regional meetups or virtual events to build community and share experiences.

We hope you take advantage of this resource to foster connections and build a supportive network with one another.

Shipping Packages to Your Student Policies

Please use our 180 Main Street address (see below) when shipping items to your student, NOT the street address of their dorm. Please use your student’s full formal name, no nicknames!

        Student’s FULL Name
        Phillips Academy
        Dorm Name
        180 Main Street
        Andover, MA 01810

Students may retrieve mail and small parcels from their student mailbox. For boarders, large items are delivered to the common room of student dorms. Please review Mailroom Policies for what items cannot be accepted.

Taxi and Limousine Service Providers

For transportation to Logan (Boston) and Manchester (N.H.) airports or Boston’s South Station, arrangements can be made with private taxi and limousine service providers. A list of service providers regularly used by members of the PA community including information on greeter services for unaccompanied minors is available here

Senior Scoop

Families of seniors! Stay informed with key updates, deadlines, and highlights of your student’s final year. This section keeps you in the loop on important events and milestones!

Senior Prom: PA’s Senior Prom is scheduled for Friday, May 30. Prom tickets are $165 per person; this ticket includes transportation, dinner, and entertainment for the evening. Financial aid is available for prom tickets; for inquiries, please email the Financial Aid Office. Details on how students can purchase prom tickets will be shared during the spring term. Please note that the prom is exclusively for PA seniors; guests or dates from other grades or outside the Academy are not permitted. To streamline preparations, we have partnered with Russo Tux & Formal Wear, who will handle tuxedo/suit fittings and rentals. We also work with a local florist who will offer wristlets and boutonnieres. Although not mandatory, using these vendors simplifies the process, as they deliver to campus and accept major credit cards.

Class Rings: Parents of seniors can purchase class rings through our vendor, Herff Jones. If you have any questions, please email Mike McCann.

2025 Commencement: We look forward to welcoming the families of the Class of 2025 to celebrate Commencement on June 1. For a complete schedule of events and FAQs, please visit the Commencement webpage.
