Niswarth Earth: Bali
Inspired by the Gandhian phrase “Be the Change You Wish to See in the World,” Niswarth uses a design-thinking framework and heart-centered pedagogy to build empathy, practice humility, celebrate our shared humanity, and develop skills and attitudes to respond to local issues. Niswarth Earth 2019 will partner with Green Camp at The Green School in Bali. Green Camp’s mission is to offer “transformative learning adventures (that) inspire sustainable ways of living.” Niswarth Earth students will partner with local environmental organizations as well as Balinese students in experiential learning opportunities that will guide them to reconnect with nature, gain a sense of purpose, and build meaningful connections with those around us.
