Students will have an immersive experience that connects The Southern Civil Rights period of the 1960s to a larger, more expansive narrative of social justice in America. On the road trip, America’s imperfect story will take shape. Students will explore the economic relationship between the North and the South and learn a more complicated version of American history while enjoying local cuisine and culture.
