Nepal: Traditions of the Himalayas
This program offers a full immersion into Nepal’s breathtaking nature and rich culture. We’ll hike through the mountains and valleys of the Everest region in the Himalayas, including watching the sunrise from the summit of Pikey Peak (4,065 m). Along the way, we’ll visit a boarding school in the Jumbesi Valley, explore several Buddhist monasteries on the trail, and conclude our journey in Kathmandu, where we’ll discover Hindu temples and traditional Nepalese workshops.
