FAMILY GIVING

The Family Giving office works with families to encourage annual giving to the Andover Fund and support targeted Academy priorities. Parents/guardians also partner as volunteers in various roles, including serving on the Andover Fund Parents Committee (AFPC), acting as welcome ambassadors for new families, and hosting and sponsoring events. Family involvement helps strengthen the Academy and connect the global PA Community.

HOST FAMILY PROGRAM

Andover’s Host Family program can be a valuable resource for incoming international students in their transition to both U.S. culture and life at Andover. The program comprises of Andover families who volunteer their time and energy each year, providing occasional home-cooked meals, family outings, care packages, and transportation to and from the airport, among other things. More importantly, host families provide friendship, support, help, comfort, and “family” experiences not generally available to international students attending a boarding school. Families interested in becoming a host family should email Rev. Gina M. Finocchiaro, international student coordinator, at [email protected].

Family Bulletin

The Family Bulletin is Andover’s weekly newsletter that is typically emailed on Thursdays during the school year (when classes are in session). Be sure to review each issue for important information, a quick glimpse of what’s happening on campus, and a selection of events of interest to parents, guardians, and other family members.
