PALS
Our Mission
Founded in 1988, PALS is an academic enrichment and high school preparation program for students from the city of Lawrence, MA. PALS, which stands for Phillips Academy and Lawrence Schools, brings 40 middle schoolers to the Andover campus for a free, five week program each summer.
Who We Serve
PALS works with students the summer before their 7th grade and 8th grade years.
What We Do
Along with academic enrichment, study skills, and learning strategies, PALS provides information about high school options and support for a successful transition to secondary school.
Summer Program 2024
In 2024, the PALS Summer Program will run on the campus of Phillips Academy from July 2nd through August 2nd. Students accepted into the program commit to attending daily from 8:30am-3:45pm for a combination of classes, athletics, and enrichment activities. There is no cost for the program, and meals, snacks, and transportation are all provided for participants.
