Head of school search update

The latest from Search Committee Chair Eric Zinterhofer ’89, P’18, ’19

Dear Andover community:

The selection process for Andover’s next Head of School continues to progress in a positive and timely fashion. Andover’s compelling mission, record of excellence, and international reputation make this an attractive leadership opportunity, and as expected, the interested candidates are impressive, with deep experiences relevant to Andover and our future directions.

Our search firm, Carney Sandoe, engaged a strong group of leaders, and the search committee will continue to interview select candidates in the coming weeks.

We are grateful to members of this community for sharing your perspectives. The input from faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and friends of our school served as guideposts in our recruiting process and the crafting of a position description that outlines what our community values most in its next leader.

As a reminder, you can find the position role description on the Head of School Search page on the Andover website and we welcome continued thoughts and perspectives at [email protected].

We look forward to sharing further updates later this spring and summer.

Sincerely,

Trustee Eric Zinterhofer ’89, P’18, ’19
Search Committee Chair, on behalf of the search committee
