This is the Andover Women’s Endeavor.

Launched in 2024, this group of female changemakers (also known as AWE) is leveraging philanthropy—and non sibi spirit—to help chart the strategic, long-term future of Phillips Academy. With strength and focus, members draw on their unique talents and energy to propel the school ever forward. Together.

Diverse programming facilitates AWE’s collective goals and, importantly, empowers and encourages PA’s next generation of women visionaries. Initiatives include mentoring, networking, student panels, meaningful dialogue with campus partners and trustees, and the Founders’ Forum, an annual conference marked with dedication, camaraderie, and enthusiasm.

When Andover women are united, the sky’s the limit. AWE not only recognizes but also advances the long legacy of female leadership and philanthropy at Phillips Academy. It enables us to champion and support one another—and to do the same for the school we so dearly love.

Statement of Purpose

The Andover Women’s Endeavor promotes female leadership and philanthropy at Andover—and elevates the role women play as architects of the Academy’s bright future, as well as their contributions beyond PA. This network shapes conversations on the school’s mission and trajectory at the highest levels, and members collectively live their values by investing in the priorities that have personal and institutional significance. They assume the mantle of those female pacesetters who have long advanced Andover—and serve to mentor and inspire all who wish to leave an indelible mark today and in the decades to follow.
