Step 1: Request Information

All prospective (MS)2 students must complete an inquiry form and be added to our distribution list. Click "Inquire Now" to complete the inquiry form.

After you submit the inquiry form, a confirmation email will be sent to the "family preferred email" entered on the inquiry form. It will contain your family's Username and Password to log in to the online (MS)2 application.

Step 2: Submit Application

A complete application includes:

  • Applicant Information
  • Household Information
  • School Information
  • Applicant Essays
  • Parent Essays
  • Recommendations (Guidance Counselor, Math, Science, and English teacher)

The "Guide to (MS)2 Online Application" provides additional details on the specific requirements along with screen shots of the online application.

Once (MS)2 receives all the required application materials, we will email you a link to the online math assessment. (MS)applicants are expected to have completed one full year of algebra before entering the program.

Step 4: Conduct Finalist Interview

Applicants will be notified by email in mid-February if they are program finalists. Finalists are invited for personal interviews in their local cities or via Skype; parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

Admissions Notification

Finalists will be notified of admission decisions by email the first week of April. Admission is based, in part, on the candidate’s academic achievement to date, strong interest in mathematics and science, recommendations, personal desire and motivation, and demonstrated financial need.
