Patrick Farrell
Has coached competitive math teams and individual students to regional and national successMr. Farrell has been sharing his love of mathematics - and recently computer science - with young people for 40 years. He is equally passionate about issues of social justice having i) served on both the Access to Success and Antiracism task forces ii) taught six summers in the school's Mathematics and Science for Minority Students program and four summers in the ACE program. During his six-year term as Dean of Faculty, he was steadfast in his determination to increase faculty diversity. As one of the school's math team coaches, he brought the first team of Andover students to compete in the prestigious ARML competition. On the track, he has coached athletes in both the horizontal and vertical jumps and during his year as head coach, both the girls and boys teams took first place in the New England Championship meet.
