“I’m constantly humbled and inspired by the talent of Andover writers.”

My personal and professional interests revolve primarily around writing -- my own and that of my students. In the writing-intensive courses I most love to teach (English 200 and my senior electives in creative nonfiction), I’m constantly humbled and inspired by the talent of Andover writers. I’m the author of a novel, Two Harbors, and I’m currently working on a collection of short stories. Other favorite pastimes and interests: trauma literature, softball, reading my backlog of New Yorkers, and (especially) exploring campus with my three young children, Owen, Ella, and Bridget. My personal and professional interests revolve primarily around writing -- my own and that of my students.
