“I’m constantly humbled and inspired by the talent of Andover writers.”My personal and professional interests revolve primarily around creative writing. I work with many student writers -- in my English 200 and creative nonfiction courses, on my “hiking and writing” team, and outside of class, guiding students interested in revising and publishing their work -- and they never fail to humble and inspire me, not just as a teacher, but as a fellow writer. I’m currently working on my third novel and enjoy spending my free time snowshoeing, reading my backlog of New Yorkers, and (especially) exploring campus with my three young children, Owen, Ella, and Bridget.
