Huiying Zhao

Thinking back, life is so short. I have been a teacher for over 30 years and yet, I feel as if it hasn't been that long at all. I taught at a public school in China for 14 years before coming to the United States 20 years ago. Since I moved to the United States, I have taught at many different schools: Heritage Chinese schools, Boston Latin Academy (public school), North Essex Community College (college), Brooks School (boarding school), and St. John’s Preparatory School (all boys' school). After I came to live in Andover in 2003, I frequently heard many legends and stories about Phillips Academy such as history, culture, world language programs. I am very happy and proud to teach at an academy where I enjoy working with my colleagues and students.
