Anny Candelario
“I really enjoy seeing students flourish in areas that are deeply impactful to them.”Anny joined Phillips Academy in 2015 and has served the community in a wide range of leadership capacities. Over the course of her tenure, she has distinguished herself as a mathematics instructor, cluster dean, house counselor, summer residential dean, and most recently as interim
director of Summer Session and outreach. Her leadership has been marked by a strong commitment to student development, community engagement, and program excellence.
With more than 20 years of experience in independent schools and summer programming, Anny brings deep expertise in academic administration, residential life, and organizational leadership. Prior to her work at Andover, she served as class dean and program director of the Tabor Summer Program at Tabor Academy, and as assistant head for student life at The Peddie School. These roles reflect her longstanding dedication to fostering inclusive, mission-driven educational environments.
Anny is a first-gen graduate of Wellesley College and holds two master of education degrees: one in organizational management from Endicott College, and another in private school leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Teacher’s College, Columbia University.
