Join Us!

We look forward to welcoming you to campus for Family Weekend, October 16-18. Family Weekend provides a unique glimpse into your child's daily life at Andover with activities such as classroom visits, small group meetings with your child's primary on-campus contact person as well as other special event offerings we have planned.

Plan Ahead

  • Classes are held on Friday, October 16 until 3 p.m.
  • Students do not have classes on Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20.
  • Boarding students can use the REACH system to request and receive overnight permissions. Deadline to submit a REACH request for Family Weekend is Sunday, October 11 at 8 p.m.
  • Dorms will remain open every day.
  • Student athletes must return for Tuesday afternoon practices.
  • All boarding students must check in by 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

The full schedule for Family Weekend is available on the Andover Event Guides app, which is available through the Apple App Store or Google Play (for Android users).

  1. Download the Andover Event Guides app (if you didn’t already do so for the Opening of School registration).
  2. Open the app and tap Find Guides (the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner of the app).
  3. Tap the Passphrase button.
  4. Type the passphrase FAMILYWEEKEND to find the PA Families and Campus Community guide for the latest information and schedule for Family Weekend. Be sure to accept notifications so that you will receive notice of any venue or schedule changes.

Customize your visit for the full weekend by using the My Schedule option within the guide. We hope you will attend as many events as possible!

Please reference the Family Weekend FAQ for answers to common questions like these:

  • May I bring my student’s sibling/grandparent/aunt/uncle? All family members are welcome for Family Weekend. Children must be accompanied by an adult or Andover student.
  • May we take our student off campus? Boarding students can use the REACH system to request and receive overnight permissions. For Family Weekend overnights, students need to submit REACH requests by Sunday, October 11 at 8 p.m.
