Kevin Olusola ’06 named inaugural William Thomas Visiting Artist

Musician returned to campus for residency

Kevin Olusola ’06 has been announced as the inaugural William Thomas Visiting Artist. The world-renowned musician returned to campus to collaborate with students, speak at All-School Meeting, and perform in Cochran Chapel May 14–16.

As one-fifth of the multiplatinum-selling a cappella group Pentatonix, the multifaceted Olusola defies stereotypes by reimagining classical musicianship through a modern sonic and lyrical lens. His latest solo album, Dawn of a Misfit, is now available.

Any time we can introduce a world-class artist to classrooms, to rehearsals, to Q&As, and to have our students learn from them, it’s hugely influential.
