Marking Progress
How donors are setting the pace for success at AndoverThe non sibi spirit of Andover’s global community of donors shines brightly at this, the midpoint of the academic and fiscal year. Indeed, the generosity of alumni, families, and friends has sparked knowledge and goodness across every aspect of the learning community, driving the school’s mission ever forward.
With sincere appreciation, the Office of Academy Resources (OAR) is delighted to report recent fundraising successes and giving highlights. This year, OAR set a goal to achieve 25 percent participation for alumni and 60 percent for families—and so far over half of each group has answered the call.
“Philanthropy to all priorities, at any level, enables our overarching purpose—to provide a world-class educational experience to all our students,” said Director of Academy Advancement Nicole Cherubini. “Without question, PA could not do all that it does without the collective energy of our donors, and we are incredibly grateful.”
Every gift across the Academy makes a difference. In fact, Andover relies on contributions of all sizes to close the critical funding shortfall that exists between the school’s endowment and tuition resources and its financial requirements. It is the unwavering dedication of donors that ensures this gap is bridged each year.
Focus on Families
Families—both current and past, including grandparents—continue to play an integral role at Andover. Their loyal partnership propels academic excellence, dynamic programming, competitive arts and athletics, and more. Everything that empowers PA’s talented scholars to develop into thoughtful, empathetic 21st-century leaders.
Andover families are rallying for Big Blue in FY26:
- This year’s fundraising goal for families is $3.6 million for the Andover Fund.
- To date, families have donated over $2 million.
- All of PA’s 1,169 students benefit from the fund.
Without question, PA could not do all that it does without the collective energy of our donors, and we are incredibly grateful.
”Stronger Together
In FY26, alumni, families, and friends are uniting for the Andover Fund, which allows the Academy to directly address urgent and immediate needs. The fund provides flexible, unrestricted support for financial aid, faculty development, health and wellness, equity and inclusion, and other key priorities, and is essential to the school’s need-blind commitment.
Donors affirm that commitment with gifts of all sizes to the fund, boosting it further with impressive participation in November’s Andover-Exeter Challenge. The 2026 Senior Class Gift was launched in tandem with that event—more than 26 percent of seniors have already donated to mark their milestone year, with the majority of gifts directed to the Andover Fund.
Contributions to the Andover Fund are safeguarding PA’s time-honored ideals for future generations:
- The fund covers nearly 10 percent of the Academy’s operating budget.
- At this midpoint, 2,995 donors have given between $1 and $499—totaling $302,332.
- The fund has received over $6.1 million in cash gifts from 4,305 donors so far this fiscal year.
All in for Andover
The remarkable impact of alumni, families and friends will reverberate across Andover Hill and beyond this spring. The entire PA community extends its deepest appreciation to these changemakers.
Join them today with a gift of any size—and stay tuned for updates about PA Giving Day, the school’s global day of giving, which begins March 24.
