Bulfinch Loyalty Society honors one of Academy’s greatest resourcesby Matthew Bellico
Andover’s Bulfinch Loyalty Society is now more than 10,000 donors strong—with alumni, parents, and friends joining from all decades and classes and from around the globe.
This special society celebrates those who support Andover—with a gift of any size—for two or more consecutive years. “Our loyal donors are one of the school’s greatest resources,” says Alison Smith Lord ’85, P’19, who serves as the society’s honorary chair. “We have the power to transform the student experience, and our collective strength is what counts. It’s not how much you give, it’s your participation and belief in Andover’s mission.”
Last year, Bulfinch Loyalty Society donors touched every aspect of student and faculty life. Annual donors make possible Andover’s unprecedented commitment to need-blind admission and help support:
- The advancement of Andover’s more than 300 courses across 15 disciplines
- The success of Andover’s burgeoning robotics initiatives, with students competing in—and winning—VEX Robotics Competitions
- Twenty-five Learning in the World programs, which span destinations from the U.S. to Italy to India
- Seven student clubs partnering with the Sykes Wellness Center on health initiatives
- A vibrant arts scene on campus, featuring 10 large music ensembles and six main-stage theatre and dance shows each year
“Andover is incredibly grateful for its annual donors, because they have a direct impact on all this and much more,” says Smith Lord. “Quite simply, the Academy wouldn’t be the dynamic and distinctive place it is without them.”
Your path to Bulfinch Loyalty Society membership begins with your gift today.
