Learn to Play Hockey

"LEARN TO PLAY" ICE HOCKEY

Players should be fully functional by themselves in hockey skates - able to get up on their own after falling, push with both skates and have some stopping and backward skating abilities. Players will further develop and strenghten their skating skills as well as learn hockey specific skills listed below. Similar to Andover Hockey Association's  "Initiation Blue' program. FULL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED. *Each Learn to Play participant gets to participate in the Half-Ice Friday's at no extra cost!

Wednesdays    June 19 - August 28 (11 weeks)

4:10 - 5:10 pm (8 - 12 year old's)

5:20 - 6:20 pm (5 - 7 year old's)

$219 per player

HALF-ICE FRIDAYS

Fun, "pond hockey" style of play. Rink will be separated into 2 or 3 small ice rinks. Players will be separated by age. Beginner/Intermediate level of play. *This program is FREE for those in our "Learn to Play" program.

Friday's   June 21 - August 30 (11 weeks)

5:20 - 6:20 pm

$109 per player (Learn to Play participants are FREE!)

Equipment requirements for all summer programs: Hockey skates, HECC approved helmet w/ facemask, leg pads w/ hockey socks, elbow and shoulder pads, hockey gloves and hockey pants.
