Andover Aquatics
The Phillips Academy Aquatics Center features a 25-yard competition pool that serves as the home venue for Andover’s swimming, diving, and water polo programs. The pool can be configured with eight competition lanes or 13 practice lanes, providing flexibility for training, competition, instructional swim lessons, and recreational programming. It is also home to New England’s only full-sized high school water polo course.
This state-of-the-art facility includes adjustable starting blocks, two 1-meter diving boards with a dedicated diving area, an OMEGA Swiss Timing System for competitive events, and on-deck spectator seating for more than 300 guests. While the pool is utilized by Phillips Academy’s aquatics teams throughout the year, the Aquatics Center is expanding its offerings to include community recreation programs, diving instruction, lifeguard certification courses, competitive swim training, and swim lessons for participants of all ages and abilities. The facility is committed to providing high-quality aquatic opportunities for both the Academy and the greater community.

The 25-yard pool offers maximum flexibility for Andover’s comprehensive aquatics program. Home to PA’s swimming, diving, and water polo teams, the pool is engineered to accommodate eight competition lanes or 13 practice lanes for workouts, racing, and even instructional swim classes. It’s also the site of New England’s only full-sized high school water polo course. Amenities in the complex include the Robby Browne ’66 Hot Tub, adjustable starting blocks, two 1-meter diving boards and dedicated diving section, an OMEGA-Swiss Timing system, locker rooms, and on-deck seating for more than 300.
