Thom Lockerby

Thomas P. Lockerby, Secretary of the Academy leads the alumni engagement, development, and communications initiatives for the school. Thom has spent his entire career working in and consulting with charities, focusing on major and planned gift fundraising as well as organizational leadership. In fall 2025, he served as Senior Philanthropy Consultant at Eton College (Eton, UK) while on sabbatical leave from Andover.

Prior to joining Phillips Academy, Thom was the Vice President for Development at Boston College and directed its $1.5 billion comprehensive campaign. Previously, Thom served as Director of Gift Planning at Dartmouth College, Relationship Manager at Kaspick & Company, Vice President at PG Calc Incorporated, and Director of Development Relations at Harvard Business School.

Thom serves on the boards of William James College, the Asian University for Women Support Foundation, and The Endowment Project. Thom is a graduate of Harvard College.

Seeing this magic happen every day drives my colleagues and me to do our best to help realize the dreams of everyone in our community.
