Instructors in all of our classes, not just the arts, teach us to think creatively."My art classes have helped me grow my passion for painting and drawing—and discover new interests, too, like ceramics and collage. In Painting I, Ms. Trespas taught me how to take creative risks and to be less self-critical. I love seeing what my classmates create. We can start with the same assignment and guidelines, yet end up with entirely different, incredible, unique final products."
”Emma is happiest when she’s painting or drawing or learning Japanese. But her favorite class so far is actually a challenging U.S. history course. She’s in the Marine Sciences Club, volunteers for Arc, a community engagement program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and likes to play the guitar to relax.
