Ellie Dixon

Ellie Dixon is the Assistant Costumer in the department of Theatre & Dance. She joined the team in 2018 and has enjoyed working backstage and in preparing costumes for faculty-led and student-led theatre and dance shows. She is also a freelance costume designer and has worked in higher education designing for shows such as She Loves Me, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Babetteā€™s Feast, As You Like It, and The Velveteen Rabbit. She has worked in a youth theatre company, costuming up to 70 youth for a musical. She has served as the Associate Artist, Costume Studio Supervisor at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, and has worked with the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University in St. Louis. She holds degrees in fashion design and theatre arts from Parsons School of Design and Gordon College. In her free time, she likes attending musicals all over New England.
