10. Retiring Faculty
Andover saluted our four retiring faculty members—Gregory Wilkin (43 years), Deborah Olander (21 years), Kevin O'Connor (38 years), and Suzanne Buckwalter (22 years)—on May 31 for their final day in the classroom. 1,330 likes, 43 comments.
9. New Student Move-In
New students arrived at Andover for registration and move-in on September 5 and were greeted by raucous cheers from our Blue Key Head leaders. 18,535 views, 1,356 likes, 18 comments.
8. Vista Walk
Seniors kicked off the 2023-2024 academic year making the traditional Vista Walk with Head of School Raynard Kington, MD, PhD, P’24, ’27, on September 7. 20,248 views, 1,358 likes, 12 comments.
7. Promenade
Students gathered on the steps of Samuel Phillips Hall before making the trip to Boston for prom on June 3. 1,442 likes, 11 comments.
6. Falls Music Center Groundbreaking
Falls Music Center officially broke ground in February. Andover’s new
30,000-square-foot home for music will be the Academy’s first purpose-built facility
for music education and performance. Made possible by Knowledge and Goodness campaign investments, the state-of-the-art center is currently under construction and will open in autumn 2024. 1,620 likes, 19 comments.
5. 2024 Admission Decisions
Team Shuman joyfully announced Andover's 242nd admitted class on March 10. 1,691 likes, 42 comments.
4. Mourning the Loss of Aggie Kip
The Andover community remembered beloved faculty member Aggie Kip on August 16. 1,728 likes, 82 comments.
3. Head of School Day
Head of School Raynard Kington, MD, PhD, P’24, ’27 announced his annual surprise holiday on January 29 by removing his new top hat in Paresky Commons. 2,052 likes, 15 comments.
2. Pentatonix on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Kevin Olusola ’06 and Pentatonix were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February. They are the first a cappella group to earn the honor and join fellow Big Blue legends Dick Wolf ’64, Jack Lemmon ’43, and Humphrey Bogart with real estate on the iconic boulevard. 2,119 likes, 23 comments.
