Abbot Academy Fund awards fall grants

Projects include public gardens, club support, and academic pursuits

The Abbot Academy Fund was created in 1973, at the time of the merger of Abbot Academy and Phillips Academy, to continue Abbot’s tradition of boldness, innovation, and caring through large and small grants to Phillips Academy students, members of the faculty and staff.

The board of directors of the Abbot Academy Fund gathered virtually November 5 and 6 for its fall meeting. Nine proposals were awarded funding. The amount granted at this meeting totaled $108,644 with grants ranging from $726 to $77,475.
