Art meets nature
Students create temporary works in Cochran SanctuaryART600 held their annual fall exhibition in the Cochran Sanctuary October 11-13. The students were asked to use natural and/or manmade materials and objects to create a temporary piece that is in some way a response to the site and that also transforms the space to invoke or subvert a notion, perception, assumption, or situation. Some of the students were inspired by the theme of invisibility, the focus of two exhibitions on the first floor of the Addison Gallery. Other students explored the idea that all art is political.
