NEW YORK: The Bowery Mission Non Sibi Project with Gordon J. Paiva ’20

09/12/2026 10:00 AM 09/12/2026 12:00 PM America/New_York Andover NEW YORK: The Bowery Mission Non Sibi Project with Gordon J. Paiva ’20

Andover alumni and families! Share your time in the spirit of non sibi by volunteering for a hands-on meal prep shift at The Bowery Mission. Volunteers will prepare meals that support the organization's essential community services throughout the week. Volunteers must be 18 years or older to participate.

Volunteers will assist with assembling and packaging meals, sorting pantry items and donations, and preparing ingredients for the kitchen's cooking schedule.

All participants are required to register through The Bowery Mission's volunteer portal and complete a waiver before participating. The Bowery Mission is creating a registration link specifically for Andover volunteers. Once it is available, we will email the link and registration instructions to everyone who signs up for this opportunity. Space is limited!

The Bowery Mission meets essential needs and creates transformative community with men, women, children, and families in New York to overcome homelessness and poverty. The Bowery Mission has served neighbors experiencing homelessness and hunger since the 1870s, when its neighborhood came to define the term “skid row.” Children’s programs, known as Mont Lawn City Camp & Summer Camp, have served New York City youth since 1894.
