March 15 – April 12, 2023 Alumni Events
Alumni, families, and friends of Andover
are invited to a
Rosie's Place Food Drive Non Sibi Project with Rosalina Feliciano ’81
A virtual month long project
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15, 2023 - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12, 2023
True to their motto, Rosie's Place is more than a shelter - it's a second chance. As the first women-only shelter in the country, Rosie's Place is now a multi-service community center that offers women who are either experiencing homelessness, or who are on the brink of it, the opportunity and tools needed to make a new start. Their services range from being a food pantry, to organizing ESOL classes, to offering legal assistance, wellness care, one-on-one support, housing and job search support, and community outreach.
During the pandemic, Rosie's Place remained open - and with great need - with Massachusetts' homelessness growing in Greater Boston at a rate that outpaced the rest of the nation. Over the course of a month, we hope you'll join us in this non sibi project aimed to support the food pantry at Rosie's Place, helping them to deliver the true unconditional love that is the essence of their work. Supporting this amazing organization is easy! Simply visit the Virtual Food Drive link and click "Shop Now" to purchase the items you'd like to donate to Rosie's Place.
A representative from Rosie's Place will join us for a Zoom call at 7 p.m. ET on March 21st to share more about how this work directly impacts the community.
