Join us for a special virtual conversation exploring the evolution of teaching and learning from Abbot Academy to Phillips Academy today. This program will examine how pedagogical approaches, particularly in English classrooms, have changed over time, while honoring the enduring values that continue to shape the student experience.
Featured speakers include Catherine D. Tousignant ’88, instructor in English at Phillips Academy, and Frances D. Nolde ’54, former instructor in English at Abbot Academy. Together, they will reflect on their experiences in the classroom, the legacy of Abbot's educational philosophy, and the ways in which thoughtful teaching continues to evolve to meet the needs of students in a changing world.
