Event Details:
Fifteen volunteers are needed to help deliver meals in the neighborhood until around noon. Volunteers should plan to meet at the Encore Community Services located at the basement of St. Malachy's Church no later than 9 a.m. As a thank you for your time and non sibi spirit, Marcia will host a brunch for all the volunteers after the event at a restaurant (TBD) near the church.

Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

In addition to registering here, Encore Community Services requires volunteers to register directly through their Volunteer Portal. Additional Volunteer Portal details are included in the confirmation email.

Citymeals on Wheels is requiring that all volunteers be vaccinated prior to volunteering:

As such, ALL Citymeals on Wheels volunteers must provide proof that they have received their first dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine to the center staff upon arrival:
1. They have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19; or
2. They have received a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine, even if two weeks have not passed since they received the vaccine; or
3. They have received the first dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine

Upon arrival at the center, all volunteers must sign-in and provide proof of vaccination
or a recent negative PCR test to the center staff. You will check a box during sign-in and center staff will verify that you have provided this information.
This is mandatory for your safety as well as staff and our meal recipients.

Kindly RSVP here or contact Olivia Cristaldi Lacasse
or Marcia McCabe at 917-796-1594 with any questions.

In consideration of the health and safety of our Andover community, we ask that attendees be fully vaccinated and wear masks for indoor events. Please note, the Academy considers fully vaccinated to include a booster dose. We will require all attendees to adhere to the public health guidelines established by the CDC and your state and local health officials, as well as to follow venue guidelines and regulations that are in place at the time of the event. Prior to attending, we ask that you monitor your health. If you are feeling unwell, please plan to stay home. In the spirit of non sibi, the Academy trusts that those in attendance will follow these guidelines.
