Roll up your sleeves and join fellow alumni for a fun fall cleanup day at the beautiful Naval Cemetery Landscape (NCL), located next to the Brooklyn Navy Yard and managed by the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative. Volunteers will help remove a variety of invasive vines, plants, shrubs, and trees. NCL is a monarch butterfly waystation, it's landscaped with native plants, and is a pollinator habitat. The work involves easy to moderate physical activity, and the Student Conservation Association provides gloves, tools, instructions, and plant identification.

This is a family-friendly non sibi project, all ages are welcome to participate! Volunteers are asked to print and sign the Brooklyn Greenway Initiative waiver form. For volunteers under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the form.
