The thirty-third annual MaxCourage Essay Contest - is a national and international contest that encourages students from diverse backgrounds to use their writers’ voices and share personal narratives about exceptional acts of courage in their communities and in their lives. Winning essays will be published in the annual publication, The Courage of Children: Boston and Beyond. Additionally, one student each year is honored as the National Contest Winner!

To register as a judge for this project, VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ON THE MAXCOURAGE PORTAL BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 12th. Please register here: Essay Judging Day - MAXCourage be sure to confirm the judging session you will be attending. Kindly enter "Andover Group" in the comments section of the form under Additional Information on the MaxCourage portal.
