AWARE (Andover White Anti-Racist Education) PRESENTS

In his latest book, How to Be an Antiracist, Ibram X. Kendi reenergizes and reshapes the conversation about racial justice in America. His compelling concept of antiracism points us toward liberating new ways of thinking about ourselves and one another. Instead of working with the policies and systems we have in place, Kendi asks us to think about what a truly just and equitable society might look like—and how we can play an active role in building it.

Kendi is an award-winning scholar of racism and antiracism, a 2019 Guggenheim Fellow, and a New York Times best-selling author. He is professor of history and international relations and the founding director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University in Washington, D.C.

Following the presentation, Kendi will sign copies of his book, which will be available for sale.
