Gaining Ground Non Sibi Project with Brett Johnson ’82

SATURDAY, AUGUST 19, 2023

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Gaining Ground

341 Virginia Road, Concord, MA 01742

Join us as we once again hold this beloved in-person non sibi project with Gaining Ground - a non-profit farm that aims to grow community alongside organic produce. 100% of the food grown at Gaining Ground is donated to local hunger relief organizations – in 2020 this resulted in about 127,000 pounds of food.

Volunteers may take part in spreading compost and mulch to enrich the soil, transplanting seedlings from the greenhouse out into the fields, and help to maintain perennial hedgerows, among other tasks. Children ages 5 and up are welcome to participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please review Gaining Grounds' volunteer guidelines.

This project will take place outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather and farm work.
