The Nutcracker Reimagined
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2023
1:45 PM TO 3:30 PM
Tang Theater
Campus
After a five-year hiatus, the Department of Theatre & Dance will present an updated version of The Nutcracker. It is the night of the annual Phillips Academy Holiday Celebration and an early snowstorm has trapped some students on campus over the winter break. Students are out trying to catch a glimpse of the partygoers when they come upon a room filled with the costumes and set pieces of the old Nutcracker. Magic ensues as the students unearth the costumes and bring to life Nutcracker Reimagined. The cast of thirty-five dancers will be joined by faculty and staff children and adults, continuing the tradition of a community holiday event.
Organized by the New England Regional Leadership Team
Andrew M-K Ang ’09, Carolyn Chica ’08, Scott A. Darci ’01,
Alanna H. Hughes ’04, Elizabeth Anne Pates ’10, Anita A. Taylor ’03,
