February 10, 2024 Standardized Testing
The ACT exam on Saturday, February 10th will be held in Davis Hall in the McKeen Building on Abbott Campus.
ACT Test Day Instructions:
The McKeen building is located at 24 School Street (on the corner of School Street and Abbott Street). Drive down Abbott Campus Road and park in the lot past Draper Hall. Walk back to McKeen Hall on the circular walkway.
Please arrive at the McKeen Building by 7:45 a.m. A Seating Chart will be
posted in the lobby. If you arrive after 8 a.m. you are considered
late and you may forfeit your seat. Masks are optional.
Students wishing to test on a Stand-By basis: Students must register for Stand-By testing on the ACT website ACT.org Seats are available on a first come first served basis.
Parents are not allowed in the testing building at any time.
Students MUST HAVE the following:
- Proper identification (driver’s license, passport, school ID)
- Should bring their printed ACT Admission Ticket
- Students without a current, official photo ID will not be allowed to test.
Students should bring the following:
- Sharpened #2 pencils
- A good eraser
- Approved calculator, with extra batteries
- Snacks and bottled drink for breaks
Students should not bring the following:
- Cell phones, smart watches, fit bits, ear buds
- Books or papers
- Pens, highlighters, or colored pencils
- Recording or other electronic devices
Students can only be dismissed when the test finishes. ACTs, without Writing, end at approximately 12:30 p.m. ACT’s Plus Writing, normally end at approximately 1:30 p.m. Students may not be dismissed early.
