Andover brings it back

Andover controlled set#1 and #4. Milton stayed even with Andover in set#2 and defied the odds at 22-23 to even the sets at 1-1. In set #3, Andover found itself in a 1-10 hole and slowly picked away at Milton's lead to take the third 25-23.
The first set was in Andover's control as soon as Sewon park served three points to put Andover in the lead at 8-4. Claudia Leopold served that advantage with 6 more to a 17-7 advantage. That 10-point margin ended up the score of the first set.
In the second set, Andover swapped out 7 players for the other 7. Andover took an early lead at 7-4 on Katelyn Wang's 3 service points. Caroline Yun later served 2 of her own to bring Andover back to even at 11-11. Brooke Fleming served Andover ahead again at 14-13. Later Anna Faliero served Andover back into the lead at 20-18. This where Milton surged and tied the match at 1 set each.
Andover's starters came in cold at immediately went into 1-10 hole. Slowly Andover erased that 9-point deficit to 5-11,9-15,allowed Milton to pull ahead to 11-19. At 14-21 Margot Forti served Andover to 18-21, and after a side-out Andover's Claudia Leopold served 5 clutch servioce points to put Andover ahead 24-22, enough to get the set advantage again.
In the fourth set, Anezka Kuncova immediately set the tone with three service points, Janneke Evans (4) Claudia Leopold (3), Serena Liu (2), Brooke Fleming (2), Margot Forti (1) followed suit for a 25-14 win of the match.
Claudia Leopold wins the service point award for 16 today.
Thanks to parents and friends for all the support. We have next Wednesday off in the week leading up to the A/e, hosting Exeter for the final regular season and revenge match. As far as the standings go Andover is in the mix for the #3-#8 spot, a tightly contested grouping going into the tournament.
