Rachel Skiffer

Rachel Skiffer oversees Andover’s institutional research and library services.

Rachel Skiffer joined Phillips Academy in 2013 as the school’s first Dean of Policy and Strategic Planning. In this role, she facilitates the strategic planning process and monitors implementation into school policy. She also oversees Andover’s institutional research and library services.

Skiffer began her career in education in the admission and financial aid offices of Harvard College and the Latin School of Chicago. Prior to Andover she was the director of admissions and financial aid at San Francisco University High School. Outside of education, she has worked in management consulting and commercial real estate law. Skiffer is a member of the Board of Trustees at Katherine Delmar Burke School in San Francisco, and is a 2013 recipient of A Better Chance’s Hero Award. Rachel holds a B.A. from Harvard-Radcliffe College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
