Morocco: Inside: Outside

Morocco: Inside: Outside is a 13-day cultural immersion program in Morocco where students will engage with this country’s diverse peoples and rich tapestry of languages, arts, and history. Although French skills are not required, students taking French will find ample opportunities to speak the language every day.

Morocco: Inside, Outside invites us to both recognize the mosaic of our commonalities and respect the patterns of our diversity as we explore the physical and virtual intersections of languages, cultures, religion, and art in this culturally rich and visually stunning country. We’ll cross cultural spaces physically and virtually — through doors and arches, in medinas in larger cities and smaller villages, and in artist’s studios, all the while learning about public and private customs, cultural and linguistic diversity, women’s roles, and the juxtaposition of modern and ancient spaces.
