Information for the PSAT on Thursday, October 29th

Because of the pandemic, the PSAT will be administered for Phillips Academy Uppers only. Uppers should email dcolombo@andover.edu if they would like to take the PSAT.

Registration for the PSAT is currently ongoing and will end on October 22nd at noon.

The PSAT will be given in the Snyder Center.

Test Day Instructions:

Students should arrive at the Snyder Center by 7:45am. They must wear a mask and complete their daily COVID tracker before leaving their dorm. Form 3 lines at the entrance for check in. Please enter Snyder lobby one at a time per line.

Breakfast will be available in student dorms.

Students must be pre-registered for this exam. No Stand-By testing available

Parents are not allowed in the testing building at any time. Students can only be dismissed when the test finishes. The PSAT exam ends at approximately 12:00pm. Students may not be dismissed early.

Students MUST bring the following:

  • A picture ID (students without an ID will not be admitted). Acceptable IDs are School IDs, Driver’s License or Passports. There is no Admission Ticket for this exam.
  • A supply of # 2 pencils, not mechanical pencils
  • An approved calculator, with extra batteries

Students should not bring the following:

  • Cell phones, smart watches, fit bits
  • Pens, notes, books, dictionaries, or scratch paper
  • Rulers, protractors or compass
  • Electronics, computers or portable listening devices.
  • Food or drinks, except for closed water bottles or snacks which can be consumed at the break
