MAXCourage Essay Judging Non Sibi Project with Blakeman Hazzard Allen ’66

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2023

9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Morning Session - 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Afternoon Session - 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Judges may participate in either session or both


Andover volunteers are invited to judge the annual MaxCourage Essay Contest - a national and international contest that encourages students from diverse backgrounds to use their writers’ voices and share personal narratives about exceptional acts of courage in their communities and in their lives. Winning essays will be published in the annual publication, The Courage of Children: Boston and Beyond. Additionally, one student each year is honored as the National Contest Winner!

Courage essays and guidelines will be provided in advance of the essay judging day for initial review.

February 16th essay judging will consist of opportunities to participate either virtually or in-person. The in-person venue will be the McKeen Conference Room B at the Boston Public Library. During registration, please indicate your preferred way to participate.
