The
William B. Clift Record Library (CLIFT)
The
William B. Clift Record Library, located in the music
building, Graves Hall, has a varied and extensive
circulating collection of CDs and LPs for use by students,
faculty, staff, alumni, and emeriti of the Academy.
The facility is open for listening, quiet study,
and assignments given by music course instructors,
as well as music-related assignments given by other
departments. There are five listening stations equipped
with CD players and tape decks; one of these stations
has a turntable. There are twelve computer carrels
with music-related software programs and CD-ROMs;
nine of these stations also have midi keyboards. Acoustic
guitars, metronomes, and small tape decks may be borrowed
for use in the Graves Hall practice rooms.
