1. Click on the time in the upper right corner of the screen and scroll to Open Date and Time.
   
   
2. Choose the Network Time tab.
   
   
3. Check the box next to Use a network time server.
   
   
4. Type time.andover.edu in the NTP Server location and click Set Time Now.
   
   
5. A message should display, "Synchronization Succeeded".

1. Double Click the time displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
   
   
2. Adjust the Date and Time as necessary.
   
   
3. Verify that the Time Zone is set to Eastern Daylight Time. If not, choose Eastern from the Time Zone tab on the pull down menu.
   
   
4. Check the box next to Daylight Savings Time on the Time Zone tab.
   

Optional . . .

1. To sync to the servers time, choose Start, Run, and type cmd
   
   
2. At the command prompt type:

(on campus only)
net time /SETSNTP:time.andover.edu

(off campus only)
net time /SETSNTP:ntp2.usno.navy.mil
