Soccer Camp
Welcome to the Andover Soccer Camp (ASC). Started at Phillips Academy in summer 1976 as a one-week program serving 103 local girls and boys, the camp grew over the years and now registers over 750 campers from 60 communities. In addition to providing an enjoyable, quality educational experience that stresses growth, team play and healthy competition, ASC seeks to give families a closer understanding of the opportunities available at Andover.
A half-day program is geared to children ages 5-7. The weeklong, full day program is dedicated to 8-12-year-old players, while the last week of camp helps prepare for high school competition and goalkeeper programs.
Each summer, more than half of the participants have attended previous sessions at Andover Soccer Camp. This “feeder trend” carries over to the staff, comprising 45 coaches, faculty and athletic trainers from Phillips Academy and neighboring public schools and colleges. Several coaches started their ASC experience as campers. Participants enjoy instruction, games and getting to know other players and coaches on seven full soccer fields, a large grid area for tactics, a gymnasium, cafeteria, audio-visual center, swimming pool and field house. |
| This camp must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430.000), and be licensed by the Andover Board of Health. Information on 105 CMR 430.000 Click Here. |
