The museum is located on the northwest corner of Main Street (Route 28) and
Phillips Street, on
the campus of Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. Two-hour
parking is available on the
north (museum) side of Phillips Street.
From Boston and the South:
Take
Interstate 93 North (going through Boston, or go around Boston on Interstate
95/Route 128 until it joins with Interstate 93 North). Take exit 41 (to Route
125, Andover) Take Route 125 North
for about 3 miles. Turn right on Route 28
north, which becomes Main Street in Andover. Follow Main Street for about 3
miles to the Phillips Academy campus. The square Bell Tower on the right, at
the corner of Route 28 (Main Street) and Salem Street is a landmark. Pass the
Bell Tower, staying to the left, and take the next left turn (about 1 block)
onto Phillips Street.
From the West:
Take
the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) or Route 2 east to Interstate 495.
Take Interstate 495 North to exit 41A (Andover) and go south on Route 28
(Main Street) through the town of Andover. The Phillips Academy campus is about
3/4 mile south of the town center. Go through the traffic light at Main
Street and School Street, and turn right at the next street, which is Phillips
Street.
From the North:
Access Interstate 495 North from Interstate 93 (from New Hampshire) or
Interstate 495 South from Interstate 95 (from Maine). Take exit 41A (Andover)
and go south on Route 28 (Main Street) through the town of Andover. The Phillips
Academy campus is about 3/4 mile south of the town center. Go through the
traffic light at Main Street and School Street, and turn right at the next
street, which is Phillips Street.
