Associate Director of Alumni Affairs for Communications

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Affairs, the Associate Director of Alumni Affairs for Communications will provide communication support of the many and varied programs and activities related to alumni, parents and friends of Phillips Academy.  Responsibilities include: developing and executing external messaging to alumni including online messaging; creating  event invitations,  newsletters, brochures, postcards, and press releases; managing the web presence for affinity groups and individual alumni helping alumni develop class web pages; creating push pages to promote connectivity; and improving the use of our current portal tools such as event registration.  In collaboration with the Technology and Communications departments, the Associate Director will improve integration with the Enterprise Database Management System and other existing social networking services (e.g Facebook.)  The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, strong writing and editing skills and a proven ability to manage a Web site.  A minimum of three to five years of Alumni Affairs, development or foundation communications experience, commitment to teamwork and the ability to articulate the mission of excellence of Phillips Academy also required.   Programming skills are not required.   Full-time, Campaign position with benefits.  Interested candidates should send resume and cover letter, including salary requirements.
