The Parent Fund is the vehicle for annual giving by parents and part of the Andover Fund.  As part of the Andover Fund, it is one of three funding sources (along with the endowment and tuition) that support the Academy’s annual budget. Tuition provides approximately 60 percent and 30 percent comes from the endowment.

The remaining 10 percent is contributed each year by alumni, parents and friends by way of the Andover Fund. The Parent Fund stands in that 10 percent gap as part of the Andover Fund to meet the Academy’s budget each year.

In fiscal year 2007, 60% of our current parents, along with gifts from past parents and grandparents, contributed $1.24 million to the Parent Fund. This year the Parent Fund is being asked to raise $1.5 million and it is our hope to engage at least 70% of our current parent population in that challenging goal.
