The Student Activities Office oversees a number of varied and engaging student
groups. Organizations are groups that are school-supported and populated
with a selct membership, often by student election. Clubs
are open to anyone interested in joining and, except for the presence of
faculty advisers, are totally student-driven in their scope, program and
purpose. Information on the formation of a new group may be obtained through
the Student Activities Office, located in the basement of George Washington
Hall.
Weekends are geared to fun and activities for our widely diverse student
population. Events run each Friday and Saturday evening and include movies,
dances, and trips. The director of student activities often meets with members
of the Student Council to discuss and plan upcoming events and activities.
