The Chapel serves many purposes and groups within the school. Used for special assemblies, musical rehearsals and performances as well as for worship, the building is seldom free for non-school events. The use of the Chapel for weddings and baptisms is regretfully, but necessarily, confined to the alumni/ae, staff, and faculty of Phillips and Abbot Academies and their children.

The calendar of services and events is kept in the Chapel office. Requests may be made by calling (978) 749-4130. Because the Roman Catholic Boston Archdiocese has ruled that Roman Catholic weddings within its purview should be celebrated in parish churches only, and not secondary school chapels, we are not able to accommodate Roman Catholic weddings at Cochran Chapel.
