Parents & Students - Religious and Spiritual Life - Student Organizations
Religious life is fostered by the student faith groups on campus, which are advised by the chaplains. Currently there are organizations for Protestant, Jewish, Catholic, Muslim, Hindu and Quaker students that meet regularly for worship, discussion, celebration and service activities. In addition, the Andover Interfaith Round Table brings together students of all religious backgrounds for discussion and sharing.

The chaplains lead religious services regularly in Cochran Chapel or Kemper Chapel, a smaller and more intimate worship space on the lower level of the chapel building. The building also houses a small meditation room for use by groups of all faiths, but particularly adaptable for Hindu and Muslim student worship. Every Sunday during the academic term, there is a Protestant service of worship at 11 a.m. in Cochran Chapel. Catholic Mass is celebrated twice each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. in Kemper Chapel and on certain weekday evenings and special feast days. On Friday evenings each week, a Jewish Shabbat service is held in Kemper Chapel. Hindu students meet weekly for their worship services. Muslim students hold daily prayers in a special space in the Oliver Wendell Holmes Library.
